These little ones were born several years ago and became world famous because Jenna and Gillian were born holding hands. The girls have already grown up and today are the closest and dearest.
Such a case is very rare. They are born in an amniotic sac inside the mother’s womb for two, which is extremely dangerous for twins, often such cases end in the death of one of them. The difference between the girls is literally seconds, and when they were born, everyone in the room was speechless, as the little ones were holding hands.
As the mother of the twins recalls: “When I saw this, my heart melted and my husband had tears in his eyes. Even hospital staff were affected. Years later, almost nothing has changed – they are still close.
“There is a sort of inexplicable bond between the girls. They are always together and often hold hands. If you try to separate them or do something with each of them separately, they start to sob. They just can’t live without each other,” says Sarah, the girls’ mother.
The little ones look so alike that mum and dad often confuse them, but not Jackson: he always knows who Jenna is and who Gillian is, and corrects his parents if they are wrong.
