Our pets are always ready to help their human. They are so striking in their loyalty and devotion that they inspire respect for the entire animal world.
Today we’re going to share with you a story about a very smart and fluffy four-legged friend who didn’t leave his little mistress in trouble.
It happened in mid-April. It was quite warm outside and Aurora, 3, was dressed in a light t-shirt and pants. She played in the yard, but did not go out and went for a walk with her dog Max, who was already 17 years old. They walked further and further, then the girl realized she was lost. The weather became very bad, it started to rain. Local police searched for the baby for 15 hours.
Found Aurora by her grandmother Leisa Bennett. “I climbed the mountain and when I got to the top our dog ran up to me and led me straight to her,” she said. Everyone ran after Max and found a scared little girl on top of a steep hill. Fortunately, she was fine. Aurora smelled strongly of wet dog hair, apparently she slept all night in the arms of a dog and it partially protected her from the night cold.
Although Max is a deaf and half-blind dog, he did not abandon the little one and was always there. The police awarded Max the title of “Honorary Police Dog”, as they marveled at the quadruped’s heroic deed.
