The story of a little Chinese girl named Jingzhi has only been known for a few years. The fact is that her parents left her only 5 days after her birth, but she already met them in adulthood.
The girl’s parents, Xu and Qian, were forced to give up their second daughter, because at that time in China, the birth of a second child was fined due to overcrowding.
In this regard, after giving birth in secret, the parents left Jingzhi in the market and placed a note next to them, in which they told about the circumstances due to which they went to such an act and thanked the future tutors.
As a result, the girl was sent to an orphanage, and a year later she was adopted by an American family who came to the orphanage.
After 20 years, it turned out that in the note the biological parents also indicated the time and place where they would be expecting their daughter in ten or twenty years.
However, at first the new parents hid this note from Jingzhi, who was given the name Cathy, until she herself became interested in its origin. Soon the American family decided to give their new daughter the right to choose in this matter.
Documentary filmmaker Chang helped arrange a meeting between the girl and her biological parents. At the reunion, Katie and her real parents couldn’t hold back their tears.
Now our heroine continues to communicate with new parents and adoptive parents.
