Wimbledon tennis player Jody Burrage stopped the match when she saw something was wrong with the boy serving the balls and decided to help him.
The Wimbledon tennis tournaments are watched by millions around the world on television and are frequented by VIPs including royalty and celebrities.
The UK hosts this prestigious annual tennis competition, which features only the highest ranked professional tennis players in the world.
The winner of this event wins the prize trophy as well as the first prize of several million euros.
So when Jody Burrage, 23 and from Britain, saw that Ball Youngster was pale, she didn’t wait for others to help her. She stopped the tournament to get water and snacks from her bag to give to the boy and waited to make sure he was feeling better.
As a result of what happened, play was stopped for ten minutes and only resumed when the boy was helped off the pitch.
When asked why she did this, Burrage said she “just reacted like I think anyone would. I was just trying to be useful to him.”
Despite the fact that Burraj ended up losing the match to her opponent Tsurenko, she won the hearts of many people with her kind gesture. She would later compete again, this time in doubles.
