When he wakes up, he sees in the rubble of the buildings three children whose parents are dead, but who survived. Without hesitation, he took them to his home, then Jeremiah brought him other children left without parents.

Over time, people who, due to poverty in Haiti, could not feed their young began to leave them on Jeremy’s doorstep. Thus, his house officially became an orphanage. Four years ago he had 35 cubs, two weeks ago – 58, finally, and today – 62. Jeremy hasn’t given up a single cub!

Jeremy had to face many obstacles and troubles during this period: the most difficult, according to him, was when his landlord threw him and his 12 little ones out on the street for non-payment of rent. Jeremy didn’t know what to do and went to his mother’s house, where the guys had to wash up in the sink.

All he could offer the little ones for food at that time was corn, rice and beans. Jeremy has suffered, seeing how his little ones are starving and have nothing to live on, even the simplest things and conveniences.
