Mexican actress Verónica Castro celebrated her 70th birthday. How is Castro now?
In a career that spans more than 40 years, the Mexican beauty has appeared in dozens of movies and TV series. Castro is best known for her roles in the famous telenovelas The Rich Also Cry and Wild Rose, in which she played the lead role.
As her 70th birthday approaches in the fall, the 69-year-old actress took part in a cover photoshoot for a Mexican magazine and revealed why she’s stopped dyeing her hair for the past few years.
“I accepted my old age. I’m over 70, I like gray hair, wrinkles. People sometimes tell me that I’m an amateur and that I should take care to look younger by wearing makeup, going to beauty treatments and in many other ways. But I don’t like it. I think I am a beautiful woman and my loyal fans always give me praise,” Veronika told reporters.
She added that according to her, the figure of the actress is proof that she has lived a great number of years and gained wisdom and experience, but as we know, this is not not something that can be sold for money.
The Mexican star ended her film career in 2019.
Today, she maintains an active blog on social networks, showing photos of herself and praising the merits of her sons and her granddaughter, Rafaela.
