A Mexican couple were amazed when their youngest daughter was born with snow-white skin and blonde hair. Who knew that in their family there is a gene for albinism.
Edith Garcia and her husband Raul were surprised but delighted when they learned they were expecting another little one. They already had a beautiful daughter named Maria, but they were thrilled to learn they would have another daughter. Being of Mexican origin, the mother was amazed to see the ivory skin of her little one.
However, when the little one was born in June, there was a sudden silence in the room – of course, the cries of the little one could still be heard – everyone in the delivery room at the time were very surprised when they saw that the newborn had porcelain skin and completely blond hair!
The fact that they both had albino parents, they learned only after Tatyana was born.
Neither she nor her husband Raul knew they carried the gene for albinism. The recessive gene for albinism means that people can have it, but they will not show it in any way and therefore it is not so easy to detect it. Therefore, the family of a wonderful girl found out about her condition only after her birth.
