An English couple, Nikki and Adam, leave their offices and go on a trip to Europe.
Until recently, this couple’s lifestyle was similar to the one many lead – “home-work-home”. Like most other young married couples, they lived in a rented apartment, worked in offices and… dreamed of traveling.
We dreamed and dreamed, and at some point we decided it was time to make our dreams come true! The couple came to the conclusion that most of their income goes to paying for the apartment. Then they decided to take a desperate step and bought an old van.
Adam and Nicky moved out of rented accommodation and moved in temporarily with their parents, and with the money saved they bought a vehicle – a Ford Transit Luton, which they later turned into a house on wheels, to then set off on a long-awaited journey.
The new “house” cost the couple $4,000, and on top of that, it cost around $7,000 to turn the body into a living space. Now the car has everything you need to live in it comfortably.
A lovely kitchen with a stove and sink, there was space for a mini fridge and cupboards to store dishes. The van even has a dry closet! The bed is located on the second level. In the center of the “house” is a sofa that forms a miniature living room.
