American photographer Dani Lee, mother of two sons, decided to document her son Lorenzo’s first year in a creative way.
The creative mother showed how little Lorenzo grows from a month to a year, using an interesting accessory – slices of pizza.
Together with her grandmother Lorenzo, the mother-photographer decided that her son’s photoshoot should be Italian-themed. It was decided – pizza!
“I had several ideas in mind, but when we decided on this one, I realized that having dinner every month would be a good part,” says Dani.
“Month after month we agreed to take a new pizza and add a slice as we went.
Each month, the family chose the pizza together – along with Lorenzo’s three-year-old brother, Charlie. As a result, the creative mother got a positive photo project:

“Lorenzo is definitely a happy, super-energetic little one,” says creative mom Lorenzo. He takes a lot from his older brother. And also, he smiles constantly. What I remember most about this year is how fast he started walking. »
“These years pass so quickly – don’t miss them and enjoy them. Sometimes the days with a little one go by very slowly, but now it seems like before I had time to blink, he was already a year old,” Dani says.
