The world’s most similar twins from the city of Perth, Australia, are unhappy that the law prohibits them from marrying their beloved, reports The Sun.
Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeSink are passionately in love with Ben Byrne. Their unusual relationship developed well until they learned that under Australian law a man cannot marry two women at the same time.
The twins said they had been dating mechanic Ben since 2012. Shortly after meeting, they told the man they both wanted to be with him. This way the sisters won’t have to be separated.
Byrne realized that it would be really difficult for them to see each other less often. The twins have long been testing whether Ben can love them both. As a result, a year later they began to live together.
“We manage to preserve the relationship from the onset of jealousy. If Ben kisses Anna then he will never forget me,” Lucy said. The lovers sleep together in the same bed. At the same time, the twins declare that they are not sexually interested in each other.
Polygamous marriages are illegal in Australia under the Marriage Act 1961.
