Twin sisters gave birth to daughters with a difference of half an hour

Sisters Autumn Shaw and Amber Tramontana of Knoxville, Texas gave birth to girls on their birthdays, half an hour apart. The girls, who were given the names Charleston and Blakely, met from the first minutes of their lives: their mothers gave birth in the same neighborhood. “We would like the girls to feel the same closeness that bound us together,” the sisters admitted.

On their 33rd birthday, twin sisters Autumn Shaw and Amber Tramontana gave birth to two daughters, Charleston and Blakely. They gave birth in the same room, with the same doctor, and their children were born with a difference of 30 minutes. The probability of such a coincidence is only 1 in 150,000, but the sisters were lucky.

According to the sisters, everything coincided with their plans: they dreamed of giving birth at the same time and presenting the girls as soon as possible.

“We wanted them to feel the same way we felt when we were growing up, always staying close to each other. But thinking about the closeness of the girls, we didn’t expect them to be so close to each other from birth my friend! »» say the sisters.

Charleston was born first. and half an hour later, Blakely. “It’s just amazing,” says Dr. George Vick, who conducted the delivery. “We were amazed even when we found out that both sisters had the same due date. It is a divine sign, nothing else! According to him, he hasn’t seen anything like it in 45 years of practice.

Sisters Autumn and Amber were much less surprised than the doctors. According to them, they have done everything together all their lives, and the birth of daughters was no exception for them.

“We went to school together, then to nursing school, we trained together, our sons were born 10 weeks apart, rejoice the sisters. And now our daughters were born together too! »

Now, sons Autumn and Amber are two years old. As Autumn said, she became pregnant with her daughter Charleston unexpectedly, as she was still undergoing treatment after a miscarriage. “We knew it was happening all the time, and we didn’t wonder why it was happening to us,” she says. We knew that God had his own plans, and we were waiting for what those plans were. Well, the reality turned out to be more amazing than you could imagine!

From now on, in the large Shaw-Tramontana family, they will celebrate up to four birthdays on the same day. The sisters can already wait for the moment when in a year they will be able to organize a noisy joint holiday.
