“Breaking Stereotypes: Child with Down Syndrome Lands Modeling Contract! 🌟”

When a number of small modeling agencies refused to work with Asher Nash, her mother sincerely could not understand the reasons. Yes, the little one had Down syndrome, but he was an intelligent, charming and emotional boy, that is to say, he had all the necessary qualities.

Her mother shared her frustrations on social media. And soon, to her surprise, representatives of a well-known children’s clothing brand approached her and offered her a contract!

Like many mothers, Megan Nash thinks her son is just a miracle and his smile can light up the room. Unsurprisingly, Meghan sent photos of little Asher to several modeling agencies.

Meghan was surprised and upset when she started getting rejected after the agencies rejected her. The reason was simple: Escher had Down syndrome. And it turned out that agencies only invite little ones with special needs to film commercials for goods and services aimed at these little ones.

Company representatives cannot even consider special petty-candidates – after all, they are simply not in the database.

There was no place for children with special needs in traditional advertising or in the media. And Megan decided to change that.

Megan created a Facebook page dedicated to Escher, where she began posting her photos in abundance, drawing readers’ attention to the violation of the rights of small “specials” in advertising.

Additionally, Meghan approached leading international toddler clothing brand OshKosh B’gosh, suggesting Asher should become a model.

Megan Nash’s open letter instantly spread around the world. And soon, representatives of OshKosh B’gosh contacted her.

“Our company thanks you for your efforts to ensure the presence of children with special needs in advertising – says the letter. – For our part, we intend to ensure the participation of these children in our advertising campaigns in the future. »

The words of the company representative did not remain just words – they offered Asher a contract to participate in the next advertising campaign of OshKosh B’gosh.

According to Megan, she wasn’t going to make her son a supermodel at all. She just wanted him to grow up in a world where he belonged next to the rest of the people. “I just want to be seen as a person, not as a diagnosis,” she says.
