Kyran Bonello was only 14 years old when he applied to ‘Talang’ in his country, Malta.
And it would seem that he has an obvious place among the finalists.
Barely seconds after the first note, the jury and the entire audience lower their arms and are overwhelmed by the emotions it conveys.
No matter your age, you can be at least as moved by your favorite song as when you first heard it.
The artist or band struck a chord with you for a specific reason and no matter how much time passes, that magic never fades.
It keeps getting stronger and becomes a lifelong love.
I love reliving songs I haven’t heard in years and opening my eyes to artists and bands I’ve sadly lost sight of over the years.
But it’s just as fun to discover new stars who become my new favorites and whose careers I want to follow.
And I’m absolutely certain that we will see Kyran Bonello masterpieces.
He is only 14 years old but already seems to possess a talent that everyone dreams of but few possess.
Earlier this year he applied to ‘Talang’ in his native Malta to show the world his unique voice.
And it turned out that he really is a star.

Nobody could have guessed the voice that the young boy really possesses.
Kyran sings opera unexpectedly and startles the whole jury from the first clear and strong note.
The camera films the way the whole gang falls from the clouds and finds it hard to believe that it is this particular boy who can already have such a vocal timbre.
Several members of the jury have tears in their eyes.
The fact that he is there, on stage, seems to go without saying.
Kyran is meant to stand here and touch the world with his amazing voice.
So perhaps it’s not all that surprising that the jury would choose to make a big decision for the star standing before them.
After her incredible performance, the judges press the golden “super button” buzzer, which sends the young rising star straight to the final.
Tears stream down Kyran’s cheeks, who stands there, completely speechless with happiness and pride.
His unique voice carried him to the final.
