Nehemiah and Mikey Jensen taught the world a lesson. The boys were looking forward to ‘Gemini Day’ at their school, a fun dress-up where students had to match the person who looked the most like them.
Nehemiah and Mikey were each other’s favorite co-workers because they were great friends. The adorable children wore matching gray t-shirts, revealing they were fraternal twins. The happy boys had no idea that their image would affect many people.
Nehemiah and Mikey were like two peas in a pod, and their bond was not one of disagreement. The only thing that mattered to them was friendship.
Mikey’s father, Michael Jensen, was in love with the couple and proudly shared a photo of them on Facebook in May 2019. He described the incredible event that happened on “Gemini Day” and shared a photo of his son and his friend.
When someone asked little Mike how he was different from Nehemiah, he simply answered. “It’s okay, he’s just bigger.”
Many were happy to see the children who were not prejudiced against each other.
There is a lot of talk on the internet about the photo of Nehemiah and Mikey. As of December 16, 2022, over 322,000 people have shared the post, over 14,000 users have left comments.
The bright picture was full of hope and excitement. Appearances didn’t matter to them and they liked each other for what really mattered.
Their friendship has fostered greater empathy and love between ethnic groups. Given the rise in bullying and hostility in schools, Nehemiah and Mikey’s simple friendship was heartwarming.

Everyone can learn from Nehemiah and Mikey’s friendship. They could definitely teach adults a thing or two about acceptance and kindness. Their friendship shows that love trumps all and we wish them the best for the future.
