TLC has announced a new reality show, “I’m Shauna Rae,” about a 22-year-old girl who is “stuck” in the body of an eight-year-old and tries to live an adult life despite her appearance .
Shauna Rae’s growth has slowed after surviving brain cancer as a toddler. She is 95 centimeters – the average height of an eight-year-old – which is why she is often mistaken for a little girl.
“If you look at me, you’d think I’m just an ordinary little girl doing the usual little girl things with her crazy, fun family,” she says in the show’s trailer, which will be released on January 11.

“So all I can do is protect her. However, Shauna feels her parents are overprotective of her. At one point, her father arranges an interrogation for her before going to a bar with some friends.
