An amateur video captured a funny and touching moment of the performance of young ballerinas from the city of Hamilton (Bermuda). One of the girls got nervous, forgot her movements and started crying.
Her father ran to the rescue (with his youngest daughter in his arms), stood beside her, and began to dance, demonstrating not only confidence, but also a certain grace of movement. The girl straightened up immediately. It is a must see!
The recording was made on May 29 during a dress rehearsal for a show of little dancers at Hamilton City Hall. The resourceful father’s name is Mark Daniels, he is a lawyer and father of three daughters. Younger daughter Bella, two, played, and at the time Mark was holding the youngest, Suri.
“Bella was very excited and needed her father’s support,” says Mark Daniels. Despite the hysteria, she wanted to stay on stage and I didn’t dissuade her. So I stood next to her and tried to help her and give her confidence. I told her that I loved her and that she was an amazing dancer. »
“I asked her if she wanted to dance with her dad, and she nodded. So I decided to join the dance. I had practiced all of these moves with her at home, so they were familiar to me. »
Mark Daniels’ impressive ballet skills, and above all, his multitasking, won everyone over. He is now thinking of enrolling in the ballet school where his daughter studies.
“At work now, not a day goes by that someone doesn’t joke about it,” says Mark. Well, maybe it’s never too late to be a ballerina! »
