Meet Riff Rat and Osiris, a dynamic duo who are totally inseparable despite their huge size difference.
Osiris is a Dutch Shepherd, while Riff Rat is, as his name suggests, a rat. Riff Rat was saved from death as a 4 week old baby.
Osiris, who was rescued himself after being abandoned in a parking lot, helped Riff Rat regain his health.
Initially, Osiris was only going to stay with the family temporarily, but they instantly fell for him and decided to keep him forever.
So it makes sense that Osiris would be so welcoming to a fellow rescuer, regardless of size or species.
They are partners in crime and cannot be separated from each other for a moment, the trust they have between them is incredible.

Initially, there were fears that the couple might not get along, but those fears soon dissipated.
They hit it off right away and are now inseparable. In fact, they’re so close that Osiris often lets Riff Rat climb into his mouth to clean his teeth.
“Riff Ratt really likes to lick the inside of Osiris’ mouth. I’m sure you’re all wondering if we’re afraid of Osiris eating Riff – NOPE! Osiris has helped foster and care for dozens of animals and he is the sweetest dog I have ever met,” their human posted on Instagram.
“Seeing them take care of each other and have such an unexpected friendship gives me a tiny bit of hope for the rest of the creatures on this planet – especially humans :)”.
