Mamekoro51 is a Japanese photographer who has the best subjects to capture, baby animals.
One day, while visiting Inokashira Natural Culture Park in Tokyo, he met the cutest family of meerkats, and one of them was particularly camera shy.
He was found peering cautiously from behind a wall, and although he seemed scared at first, he came to say hello after a little while.
Hailing from the African countries of Botswana, Angola, Namibia and South Africa, these interesting creatures are adorable!
The cautious little guy then drove the photographer to his house where he met the family.
It was not possible to find out how many meerkats were in the house, but meerkats are known to have a “mob” or “gang” of 20-50 members.
Each female meerkat, whether or not she has children, is capable of nursing to feed the young of the alpha pair.
When guarding the young, they protect them by taking them underground if threatened and are often ready to fight at the risk of their lives.
