Jamie Traynor from the Rhino Orphanage came to the rescue of Jamila, a little rhino left without a family, when called.
She was attacked by a poacher when she wanted to help her mother, and she was still very young.
When people who rescue these animals find some of them, they often blindfold them and cover their ears. This calms them because they are stressed by the loss of their family.
When such a small and sad animal arrives at the orphanage, a lot of work has to be done with it. This is exactly Jamie’s behavior. She spends a lot of time befriending a rhinoceros and getting that animal to start trusting her.
Since Jamila has been around people from a young age, Mewie, Jamie’s cat, volunteered to herd the rhino.
Jamie says Mewie always went where she and Jamila went.
Jamie was very dear to Mewie, so she always followed her. Jamila liked it too, so the friendship between them was very good.
Of course, Jamila has integrated very well into this society, but it’s really funny to see a rhinoceros and a cat rub shoulders. Here you can see Jamie in the Rhino Orphanage.
Nandi looks like someone who always wants to have fun.
Jamie says Nandi likes laying on someone. She just lowers her head into someone’s lap and has fun with it. And she really has a big head.
They say they are very different and very dear animals that are pleasant to spend time with.
In a way, they are like dogs, they come to you, then lie down and wait for you to pet them on your stomach.
They are so cute.
