Parents who gave birth to triplets faced the problem of identifying the cubs. However, they quickly coped with it brilliantly, using a fairly simple method.
Whenever identical twins or triplets are born, their parents are asked the same question: “How do you tell them apart?” The parents, Karen and Ian Gilbert, nevertheless found a fairly simple way – they bought some gloss varnishes and painted their nails with them.
The couple specially selected colors: for Fiona was purchased fuchsia varnish, for Maddison – mint green, and for Paige – purple .
“It’s not a fad,” said the triplets’ mother, Karen, 33. “We did our best to tell them apart, and we finally found this method.
It’s made our life so much easier now when it comes to diaper changing, feeding or bathing, the color coding tells us which of the girls had these procedures and which didn’t.
We have selected the varnish so that the first letter of the child’s name coincides with the first letter of the color. It is really very practical! »
Parents of identical triplets hope that as they grow up, the girls will not only differ in the color of their nail polish, but also in their opinions and tastes.
According to Karen, the girls are so identical that they can play the same little one and thus avoid overwork.
“They became TV stars before they were a year old,” she says proudly. But for Ian and me, it is above all beautiful little ones who have given us a triple portion of happiness. »
