Michelle lost contact with her sister and brother because her mother was jealous of her husband for the children from a previous marriage.

A resident of San Jose, California, USA, thanks to a newspaper article, found her half-sister after 29 years of separation, reports the Daily Mail.

The last time Michelle Glogovach, 39, communicated with her half-sister Annette and brother Stephen Laylor at a very young age. Their father, Bob Laylor, left his wife, to whom he had been married for 13 years and with whom he had two children, to Yvonne Laylor-Kidder, Michelle’s mother.

Over time, Bob and Yvonne had children – daughter Michelle and son Bob Jr. Before the birth of his son, Leylor left with his new wife and little Michelle on vacation to Bermuda, they also took Annette and Stephen with them.

“My mother was concerned when Bob spent too much time with children from a previous marriage, and not with her. After the trip, dad decided to stop communicating with his first wife and children,” recalls Michel.

In the fall of 1988, Bob was diagnosed with an incurable disease. 12 days after the terrible diagnosis, the man died. Then Michelle was finally separated from her half-brother and sister.

In the early 1990s, she tried to find Annette and Stephen, but to no avail. Only in 2010, Michelle found an article where there was a photo of Annette. It was written there that the sister became a judge.

In August of that year, Glogovach was able to find out that Annette was living in Oregon. Then, for years, the sisters corresponded and met only recently. Together they spent three days with Annette.

The sisters realized that they were very similar: they both studied at the same university, both studied law, they liked the same TV shows and they both married men of Lebanese origin.
