In a British town, a story happened that touched the whole world. An 87-year-old widower named Ken Watson prepared 14 Christmas presents for a neighbor before his death, calculated for years to come.
The old man watched little Kadi grow up and cherished her soul. The parents of 2-year-old Kadi broke down in tears when they learned of Mr Watson’s kind gesture.
The girl’s parents burst into tears when they learned that a kind old neighbor before his death had prepared gifts for their daughter for 13 years in advance.
This story took place in the British town of Barry, in South Wales. The 87-year-old widower, Ken Watson, after his death, left the neighbours’ daughter Christmas presents for the next 13 years.
Before his death, the man prepared the 14 presents, wrapped them nicely in wrapping paper and ensured that after his death the presents were delivered to the right hands.
An old man adored his little neighbor – a 2-year-old girl named Kadi. The kind old man watched the baby grow and loved her in his own way. The girl’s parents burst into tears upon learning of Mr. Watson’s gesture. He was really a good person.
“Our elderly neighbor passed away recently. Just a few minutes ago, his daughter came to see us and gave us a huge package. The package contained Christmas presents for our daughter for the next 13 years…” Kadi’s father wrote on Twitter.
“When Mr. Watson’s daughter came to our house with this parcel, I thought it was some kind of rubbish,” said the girl’s father, Owen Williams. “But then she said they were gifts the deceased neighbor had left for our daughter.
Ok I immediately called his wife and mother, who were in Ireland, via video link – we all burst into tears. »
“I don’t know how long he hid these gifts from us – maybe he collected for the past two years, or maybe he decided to cook before he died,” the man continues.
According to him, Mr Watson often said that he definitely hoped to live to be 100 to see how Kadi would grow up.
The family recently opened Mr Watson’s first present, a children’s Christmas book. The parents decided they would give the girl gifts every year until she turned 16, as the late Mr Watson had wished.
