Eclipse is an independent dog from the United States who travels to the dog park every day by bus. Yes, yes, this girl patiently waits for the bus at the bus stop, gets on it and gets off at the right stop. It has long been a favorite of all the locals!
Eclipse is a mastador. She lives happily with her owners in Seattle, USA, but goes to the park by herself every day. It all started in 2015 when the dog’s owner, Jeff Young, took too long to finish his cigarette at the bus stop.
The eager dog hopped on the bus to go home – after all, he and his owner returned from walks every day. Young boarded the next bus and drove home, where Eclipse was already waiting for him.
Since then, this dog has its own ritual. Eclipse waits patiently at the bus stop every day, gets on it and goes to the dog park. There, she walks, plays with relatives, then takes the bus back home. She even has her own bus pass attached to her collar.
“About once a week, worried people call me and tell me that they have found my dog, who is said to have gotten lost. But I say everything is in order with her. She knows what she’s doing,” says the owner of the independent Eclipse.
Over the past five years, Eclipse has become a favorite of every bus regular and all of Seattle. When she gets on the bus, many people greet her happily. Thousands of people know about it – plus the owner maintains an Eclipse page on Facebook.
