A 27-year-old American woman gave birth to two sets of identical twins – boys and girls – 10 years apart. The rarity of this case lies in the fact that even the only chance of having two sets of twins in a woman is only 0.0014%, and here additional restrictions were imposed – the girls turned out to be monochorionic twins. The chance of this happening is one in 10 million.
Meet Casey Sanders and Eugene Goree from the US state of Colorado. They recently had twin girls. This is the second time Casey has given birth to identical twins.
At seventeen, she became the mother of twins Hayden and Cameron. Now the boys are ten years old. The boys are very fond of their little sisters.
The pregnancy was risky, and doctors were constantly monitoring Casey’s condition. On December 1, 2019, the girls were born, a little prematurely – eight months. But, despite all the excitement, now Maya and Laya are healthy and feeling great.
The children are very friendly and very related to each other. They do everything together, play, walk, eat. It is truly a miracle to have such beautiful children. We wish the best to this wonderful family.
