Jessica Alba has not acted in films for a couple of years now: the actress left the industry due to health problems and devoted herself to raising her daughters and her own business. And although social events and red carpets in the life of celebrities have decreased significantly, she still attracts the attention of fans. The other day she gave a long interview to Real Simple, where she admitted that motherhood is not so easy for her.
Alba said that at some point the relationship with her eldest daughter Honor reached the extreme point and the only way out was joint therapy. “We argued all the time about stupid things… I said: “I don’t want to live like this.” I didn’t want a gap to arise between us,” the actress shared. Then the baby was 11 years old. Alba added that before, any word she said was perceived by her daughter as an attempt to control the girl, but thanks to conversations with a psychotherapist, she realized: her mother just wanted to be a good parent.
A couple of years later, Jessica and her daughters—15-year-old Honor and 12-year-old Haven—began going to psychotherapy sessions separately, but the results of joint sessions made themselves felt and helped eliminate misunderstandings between mother and children.
By the way, one of the Russian actresses, Agata Muceniece, also shared her revelation earlier. She revealed that her children from Pavel Priluchny – 10-year-old Timofey and 7-year-old Mia – are studying with a psychologist, and the actress herself is thinking about mastering this profession.
