Designer Marie Gri, together with the team of her studio MARI GRI interiors, developed the design of a small apartment of 33 sq. m. m in a Khrushchev building in the Tagansky district of Moscow. And a typical one-room apartment with an old renovation was turned into a stylish and comfortable city apartment for a female leader. The main goal of the project is to create comfortable housing for short-term living to save time on travel to the office.
A competent redevelopment was made, taking into account all the needs of the customer. We managed to create a multifunctional space on a modest area. The kitchen was combined with the room, gas was eliminated, and the bedroom was arranged behind a partition.
The floors throughout the studio will have wood-look porcelain tiles. On the walls there is decorative mineral plaster, imitating a concrete surface, but in a warm shade. The ceilings are suspended. Lighting – integrated track system plus designer pendant lamps.
For decoration, we chose a minimalist design, where there is nothing superfluous. The window slopes and window sill were decorated with wood, and lighting was built into the cabinet furniture, which will create beautiful lighting in the evenings.
They made a bedroom in the niche and separated it with a sliding glass partition. A full double bed will provide a comfortable rest. Storage systems with facades in the color of the walls were designed on both sides of the bed.
In the bathroom, instead of a bathtub, they made a shower. A cabinet with a washing machine built under the countertop will be made to order. Materials: wood-look porcelain tiles on the floor, veneer panels behind the toilet, acrylic slotted sink. On the walls there is concrete-look porcelain tile 60×120 cm.
