Before and after: stylish euro-room apartment 48 m² by designer.

A lot of budget materials and solutions were used in this interior, but it looks very cool.

Designer designed this small one-room apartment with an area of 48 m² for her family. Thanks to competent redevelopment, it was possible to create a full-fledged Euro two-room apartment with a spacious kitchen-living room and a separate bedroom.

Apartment before renovation

Initially it was a one-room apartment with a 12.8 m² kitchen and a large room. At the same time, the corridor was completely non-functional.

Kitchen after renovation

The kitchen was combined with the living room and the corridor. The set was chosen without upper cabinets. The cabinets in the kitchen are from IKEA, 60 and 80 cm wide, almost all except one are roll-out. This turned out to be a very convenient solution in practice. All zones in the kitchen are used: a microwave was hidden in one of the cabinets.

The TV zone is highlighted with veneer panels. They were not made to order, but independently: we bought large sheets separately, designed how to make the cut, and also assembled them ourselves.

Hallway after renovation

Space for cabinets was calculated at the project stage, since the budget was limited and the designer planned in advance to buy ready-made storage systems. In addition to the closet in the hallway and living room, there is an additional closet on the balcony, or rather, an open storage system with a curtain.

Bedroom after renovation

The bedroom has been reduced in size. But it has everything you need: a bed, tables instead of cabinets, and there is still room for indoor plants. The furniture is inexpensive – we managed to buy everything at IKEA.
