Usually, if a man remains a single father, he is a widower. However, Mikhail, 36, does not belong to this category, his story is much more banal: his wife decided to leave him after thirteen years of marriage, because she fell in love with a man next door.
Ksenia did not do what other women usually do in such situations: their seven common cubs remained with Mikhail.
The couple knew each other from the time Mikhail and Ksenia studied at university. They got married early: they were 23 and 22 respectively.
They didn’t want to have many cubs, Ksenia was going to go back to work when the cub grew up. However, after the first birth, she soon became pregnant again, and then again and again.
As a result, at the age of thirty-two, this woman gave birth to seven cubs.
She quit her job and ran a household, all responsibility for earning money fell on Mikhail. In principle, they had enough money for a modest, but in no way impoverished existence.
At one point, thirty-five-year-old Ksenia told her husband that she was going to leave him because she had fallen in love with her former classmate.
It turned out that while Mikhail was working to support his family, she managed to meet and fall in love with another man.
Ksenia wanted absolute freedom, so she decided to leave the little ones to Mikhail. She was not going to leave her family at all, she was simply tired of leading a life: the woman dreamed of living more freely, and of visiting her children.
At first he struggled, but more from a moral point of view: the little ones were very sad without a mother. The financial problem worried the man much less, they were used to saving, so there were no special problems.
Mikhail recently turned 41. Five years have passed since he was alone. The man forgave his wife, despite the anger and resentment he initially felt.
Mostly, Mikhail is only worried that he hasn’t had any other relationships over the years. Not a single woman wanted to start a family with him when she found out how many little ones he had.
But Ksenia is fine with her personal life: she married a man to whom she left. In five years, she even gave birth to two babies.
