The case when quadruplets are born occurs once in 700,000. This time fell on a 31-year-old woman from the UK. After going through many hardships and experiences, she and her husband, in love and harmony, raise four wonderful twins and two older children.
When Matt Davis and Catalina Martin moved in together in 2018, they decided to have a little set. Both were divorced and each had children from previous marriages: Faith, now 11, and Callum, 10.
The woman could not get pregnant for a long time due to health problems, but in 2020 the test showed a long-awaited positive result. Imagine the surprise of new parents and doctors when it turned out that they were not expecting one child, but four at a time!
Sofia, Eston, Amelia and Roman were born in February 2021. The family live in Stockport, Manchester. The parents, as well as their little ones, had to go through a difficult path. It all started with 20 nappies and 24 bottles of milk a day and other issues that mum and dad had to deal with alone.
The belly of a single mother has reached a huge size. For this reason, she had to stop working as a hairdresser. None of the clients could believe that she was carrying four children under her heart at once.
The quadruplets were born by Caesarean section in February, at 30 weeks gestation. Sofia weighed 1.637 kg, Roman – 1.276 kg, Eston – 1.417 kg and Amelia – 1.559 kg. All babies are born healthy.
A few days later, happy parents brought the crumbs home, and from the first days they noticed that they were completely different both in appearance and in character.
Eston is always cheerful and smiling, Sofia loves to eat and is very calm, Roman is the smallest, but the loudest, and everyone who meets her falls in love with Amelia.
