Eight years ago, a Scottish resident of the town of Alloa named Stuart Hutchison was diagnosed with a terrible disease. Stewart underwent surgery and then underwent several rounds of debilitating chemotherapy. But Stewart never went into remission.
Last year, after the last course of chemotherapy, the guy felt noticeably better, and in the spring he even flew to Spain with his wife Danielle. Doctors gave him hope that the disease would still be able to cope.
By early summer, Hutchison was again in terrible pain. With this, the doctors could not do anything, they sent Stewart home to spend his last days in the circle of his relatives.
Stewart, 25, died on August 11 and after him his beloved dog died of grief. This was told by the guy’s mother, Fiona Conaghan, 52.
“My son died around 1:15 p.m. and his dog Nero died about 15 minutes later,” the woman said.
Stuart was very fond of Nero and the dog returned the favor. Nero was the puppy of two other Hutchison family bulldogs, Nala and Amelia. For two years of his life, Nero did not leave his beloved master and supported him as best he could.
And when that disappeared, then her life lost all meaning.
“This heartbreak just killed Danielle, she lost both her beloved husband and her devoted dog,” Fiona Conaghan said.
